Studenti se stanou \u010dleny orchestru \u010di sboru d\u00edky konkurzu, kter\u00fd se kon\u00e1 ka\u017ed\u00fd rok. Leto\u0161n\u00ed soubory se skl\u00e1daj\u00ed ze student\u016f z cel\u00e9ho hrabstv\u00ed ve v\u011bku 14 \u2013 19 let.<br \/>Oba soubory zkou\u0161\u00ed ka\u017ed\u00fd t\u00fdden: sbor st\u0159ede\u010dn\u00ed ve\u010dery a orchestr sobotn\u00ed dopoledne. B\u011bhem \u0161koln\u00edho roku (od z\u00e1\u0159\u00ed do \u010dervence) orchestr zpravidla hraje na \u0161esti koncertech se \u0161irok\u00fdm hudebn\u00edm z\u00e1b\u011brem od standardn\u00edch symfoni\u00ed a popul\u00e1rn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed klasiky a\u017e po \u00fa\u010dinkov\u00e1n\u00ed na ka\u017edoro\u010dn\u00edm festivalu s hudbou nejzn\u00e1m\u011bj\u0161\u00edho skladatele z Northamptonu Malcolma Arnolda. Sbor m\u011bl letos mnohem ru\u0161n\u011bj\u0161\u00ed rok d\u00edky \u00fa\u010dinkov\u00e1n\u00ed v Royal Albert Hall na koncert\u011b, kter\u00fd byl sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed akce Schools Proms, kde vystoupili se skladbou \u201cNene\u201d napsanou p\u0159\u00edmo pro sbor. Popisuje tok \u0159eky Nene, kter\u00e1 prot\u00e9k\u00e1 hrabstv\u00edm.<br \/>Sbor i orchestr koncertuj\u00ed v hrabstv\u00ed Northamptonshire v\u010detn\u011b Derngate Theatre v Northamptonu, ale tak\u00e9 se pravideln\u011b z\u00fa\u010dast\u0148uj\u00ed festivalu National Festival of Music for Youth ve Velk\u00e9 Brit\u00e1nii. Oba soubory ned\u00e1vno vystoupili v Symphony Hall v Birminghamu na n\u00e1rodn\u00edm fin\u00e1le tohoto sout\u011b\u017en\u00edho festivalu.<br \/>Sbor i orchestr vyrazili na turn\u00e9 dohromady teprve podruh\u00e9. Prvn\u00ed spole\u010dn\u00e1 cesta vedla do \u0160pan\u011blska v roce 2016. Turn\u00e9 do zahrani\u010d\u00ed je \u00fa\u017easn\u00e1 p\u0159\u00edle\u017eitost pro mlad\u00e9 um\u011blce a skute\u010dn\u00fd vrchol cel\u00e9ho roku.
